Mike Lomman has worked extensively in the resources sector, notably mining and is a leading advocate of systems thinking, advanced planning systems, supply chain optimisation, business improvement, innovation, process control, analytics and measurement.

As General Manager Demand Chain at Roy Hill since the beginning of the bankable feasibility study in 2010, he designed and implemented the Remote Operations Centre and Integrated Operating Model incorporating the aforementioned business disciplines.

Current responsibilities include managing the integration and optimisation of outbound production (demand) and inbound (supply) supply chains, including Remote Operations Centre, offsite receipting and distribution centre, site warehousing & logistics, Non-Process Infrastructure and Water Operations. 

Prior to Roy Hill, Mike was the Managing Director of an operational improvement consulting business, the Operations Manager starting up the technology arm of EPCM Calibre Projects after beginning his career as a control systems engineer. 

Mike has been with this Centre since its inception.  He represented Roy Hill on the Strategy Risk and Reporting Board.  He is a Roy Hill partner representative for the Centre and a Strategic Industry Mentor.
